AKCOBALT RC88 (colorless cobalt)
AKCOBALT RC88 is used together with organic peroxides at room temperature as an accelerator for the curing of unsaturated polyester resins in transparent applications. The application concentration should be adjusted according to the type of resin used and the manufacturing process. Depending on the application, a dosage of 1% to 2% is recommended. During applications involving polyester resins, direct contact with organic peroxides must be avoided.
