It is immiscible with organic solvents and oils. When used in combination with other driers, it improves drying performance. Calcium Octoate is an effective wetting agent. Due to its high wetting efficiency, its addition prior to the grinding of paints is recommended. Depending on the solids content, the recommended dosage ranges from 0.02% to 0.3%. Better results are achieved when used in combination with other active metal soaps. |
