Since strontium is a secondary drier, it is used only in combination with a primary drier such as cobalt or manganese. It improves through-drying during the drying process. The product can be used in all alkyd systems, particularly in high-solids systems. It is also suitable for applications under extreme temperature and humidity conditions. Depending on the solids content, the recommended dosage ranges from 0.2% to 0.5%. It is suitable for use as a drier in oil-based paints and for use in oils. Its use is not recommended for aluminum coatings. |
